FTTC Ethernet

This is not to be confused with FTTC Broadband although there are many similarities.

This product is a dedicated version of the broadband variant which utilises the existing copper lines between your premises and the street cabinet and then fibre from the cabinet to the telephone exchange.  While the usual FTTC Broadband product will then pass onto the contended network, FTTC Ethernet passes onto a dedicated service which provides uncontended bandwidth up to 20Mbps. This product also enjoys an improved SLA over broadband and is always delivered as a fully managed service.

We often use this product for delivery of bandwidth for SIP and hosted telephony, as well as sites where a fibre leased line is out of budget but dedicated bandwidth is required.FTTC Ethernet diagram
