Cloud and mobile communications provider Mitel has been named at the top of Gartner's Magic Quadrant report, making it has once again been named as the industry's leading firms.
Covering the North American market, the report designated the company as a leader in 2015, while it was also the only company to appear in all five Magic Quadrant reports.
According to Gartner's User Wants and Needs survey, in the fourth quarter of 2015, around 66 per cent of midsize businesses expect to invest in unified communications solutions over the next two years.
That finding will leave the company in a positive mood about the future, with the market clearly offering substantial room for expansion, not just in North America, but in other first world markets.
Rich McBee, chief executive officer at Mitel, claims the firm could consequently capitalise on the ongoing appetite for UC platforms.
He said: "Midsize enterprises depend on seamless, real-time communications to strengthen customer connections, raise productivity and contribute to sales success
"Mitel fuels their business performance with flexible communications solutions that knit together disparate environments and networks to enable advanced UC features like chat, conferencing, video and more.
"Along with our mobile and cloud investments, Mitel also continues to expand our focus on optimizing solutions for vertical industries—from financial to education, healthcare, hospitality and beyond."
It has been a busy couple of months for Mitel, with the company seeing a proposed merger with Polycom given the green light by regulators back in April – a move it hopes will help the company offer a more comprehensive survey.
