Samsung Galaxy S III unveiled

The third generation of the Samsung Galaxy S, the S III, has been unveiled after much speculation and rumour.

Perhaps unsurprisingly it has been packed with a variety of new and innovative features, and some we've seen before of course.

The smartphone boasts a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, meaning content can be viewed like never before on a Samsung mobile device.

As expected, it is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and full of intuitive technology, delivering a uniquely personalised mobile experience.

Andy Griffiths, Managing Director, Samsung UK and Ireland said: "Our aim with the Galaxy S III was to develop the best smartphone ever made."

He explained that a focus on creating a unique user experience is behind the concept for the phone.

The 'Smart stay' feature, enables the smartphone to recognise how you are using your phone by using the front camera to identify your eyes; which means its stays bright for continued viewing pleasure, perfect when studying an in-depth work document.

It is thought the Galaxy S III will become available in the summer.
