Asus launches cheaper tablet to compete with iPad

Asus has launched a new smaller tablet which could be spotted around the workplace in the near future, as the BYOD trend continues to move at a pace.

The TF300 boasts high-level design features and retains the keyboard that has proved popular among users, as well as an impressive level of specs.

It is powered by a quad-core processor and features the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Physically, the keyboard adds a trackpad and an SD and USB port, which make document editing and use a lot simpler, perfect for enterprise users.

As well as providing an easy-to-use keyboard, the attachment also gives extra battery life. It can keep the tablet running for around an extra five hours, meaning you get around 13 hours of battery power when combined.

It also comes with a range of bonus features including 8GB of Asus's cloud storage and the option to password protect apps, again perfect for business users.
