Android 4.0Google’s update to Honeycomb and Gingerbread includes some innovative new business-friendly features as well as some nifty user focused tools.

Device Encryption – corporate data stored the device is scrambled to protect the information if the handheld is lost or stolen.

Notification Tray – now accessible without having to unlock the phone. It also displays photos and supports music controls.

Calendar Zoom – pinch to zoom in on your calendar to see more details about specific events. Zoom out to see all events for that day.

Speech-to-text – automatically activate it by simply talking to your phone.

Share and Edit Photos – simply tap photos to share or enhance them using the impressive array of photo-editing tools.

Contacts App – nice, big photos replace the tiny thumbnails, quickly see a contact’s recent photos or status updates and their latest tweet without having to open Twitter.

Quick Response – customisable text messages to send to callers explaining why you rejected their call.

Android Beam – a powerful NFC app enabling the sharing of contacts or content between two Android devices just by tapping them together.

Monitor Data Usage – data usage reports over time and by application, plus the ability to limit data usage to a certain threshold.
