Fastdox Digital Pen

Fastdox is a simple but highly effective productivity tool that creates exact copies of handwritten documents in a PDF format.

The application allows you to create digital documents and process the inked data back into your systems quickly and efficiently. It has been designed to support the mobile worker and integrate easily into back-end systems.

Whether you are a small or large organisation, Fastdox will improve efficiency and productivity with noticeable results. Ideal as an entry level solution, it can be expanded easily to encompass custom made forms that can transform the way businesses work.

The true cost of document management
Every year throughout the world over 400 billion business forms are processed and 53 trillion documents are printed – taking between one and four weeks to be received and processed.

  • The average information employee creates more than 22 documents a day
  • The average manager spends 6 weeks a year looking for lost documents
  • The average cost of storing a single document is £25
  • The average cost of tracing an incorrectly filled document is £85

How does it work?
If you know how to print a document and write with a pen, you already know how to use Fastdox.

STEP 1 – Receive
Create or receive any document in any format

STEP 2 – Print
Print it from any application using the Fastdox printer driver. A unique pattern of microscopic dots is added as the document is printed and an image of the document is automatically stored on your computer.

STEP 3 – Write
Write on the printed document with a digital pen. It automatically records your handwriting in its memory.

STEP 4 – Dock or transmit
The recorded ink is downloaded and matched with the image of the original document by either docking the pen in its cradle or transmitting via your Bluetooth mobile device.

STEP 5 – New PDF
The Fastdox software instantly creates a new, exact copy of your handwritten document in PDF.

STEP 6 – Manage
Now you’ve got the data back in your system in electronic format, you can save, send on, archive, copy, delete or retrieve whenever you want. You can even assign automatic actions as you print, to direct what happens to the document once you’ve written on it.
